About ShopMath

ShopMath was built by engineers and enthusiasts who got tired of hunting through dusty reference books or paying for bloated software just to do basic shop calculations.

We're a small team with backgrounds in machining, fabrication, and mechanical engineering. We build the tools we wish we had when we were on the shop floor.

ShopMath exists because we believe professional-grade engineering tools should be free and accessible to everyone - from the apprentice machinist to the senior engineer.

Too many industrial calculators are buried behind paywalls or locked in expensive software packages. We're changing that.
